Flash Recovery Toolbox is a program that recovers deleted files from flash drives such as USB memory sticks or memory cards and hard drives that use the FAT file system.
This software is very easy to use, a “next, next, next” type of application, meaning that you only need to follow easy steps to do the task. Each step is easy to understand. After the first two steps (choosing the drive from which to recover and the destination where you want your files saved), the program scans your flash device using advanced algorithms. This process takes a while, especially if your drive has a large capacity. The good thing is that those algorithms really work and they work very well. Usually, these types of applications are of average quality, but this is an exception. In my case, it found files that I have deleted years ago from my drive and it was also able to recover them successfully. Now this is very impressive considering that I have changed the content on my storage device (an MP3 player) very often, possibly overwriting many files. Of course, files that have been completely overwritten were lost but that is absolutely normal.
Overall, this application finds every piece of data that hasn’t been physically erased and successfully recovers it.
